Are Bayern really serious about ManUnited’s Paul Pogba? The Frenchman’s contract in England is expiring, according to a report from Italy, Munich want to sign him for next season.

Offer to Pogba: Despite established national players like Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, FC Bayern should not be satisfied with the occupation in central midfield. That’s why an interest in Leipzig’s Konrad Laimer was recently reported – and now it’s getting even bigger: “Bild” reports with reference to the Italian “Gazzetta dello Sport” that Bayern have made an offer for Paul Pogba from ManUnited.

Disappointing years: Pogba, 28 and a world champion with France four years ago, has endured some very disappointing years in England. This season he only made a few appearances due to injuries, and the team has fallen far short of expectations.

A lot of salary, no fee: For Pogba, Bayern, who probably want to have more competition in the center, would have to pay at least 15 million euros a year. The good thing about the possible change from a Munich perspective: The Frenchman’s contract is expiring, ManUnited probably does not want to extend it, so Pogba would not cost a transfer fee to the English club. His former Turin club and PSG are said to be interested in Pogba, who was the most expensive player at the time when he switched from Juventus to Manchester in 2016 with 105 million euros.
