According to a statement by the LKA and the Bielefeld public prosecutor’s office, she is likely to have significant financial resources and supporters and contacts worldwide due to her actions.

Since 2017, Ignatova has disappeared. There is a German and a European arrest warrant against the 41-year-old. The accusation: joint fraud in a particularly serious case and money laundering. The suspect is suspected of being the driving force and intellectual inventor of the supposed cryptocurrency “OneCoin” to have prompted investors worldwide to invest in this actually worthless “currency”.
