BVB newcomer Karim Adeyemi (20) is about to reach the peak of his career: he wants to become champion with Dortmund and attack in the Champions League. The new task seems to inspire him with great respect.
Premiere: The change from Red Bull Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund is a big challenge for national player Karim Adeyemi. He admits that he has never been to Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund. Nevertheless: “It was always a dream of mine to play here.”
Change fever: He also shows respect for the move from Austria to Germany: “Of course, the Bundesliga is something completely different. I’m looking forward to the challenges,” says Adeyemi. He is certain: “BVB definitely wants to attack.”
Mammoth task: In Dortmund, the 20-year-old should replace none other than Erling Haaland. He is looking forward to colleagues like Niklas Süle (Bayern Munich) and Nico Schlotterbeck (SC Freiburg). Does it need start-up time? “I can get used to things quickly,” says the newcomer to Dortmund.
